Its purpose is to provide full transparency to Users of the website accessible at www.mynursery.be (as well as mynursery.eu, mynursery.fr, mynursery.lu, mynursery.nl, hereinafter the "Site") regarding how personal data is collected and processed.

  • User: Any natural person browsing the Website or utilising the interactive features of the platform.
  • Professional / Partner: Any early childhood professional or organisation (natural person or authorised representative of a legal entity) holding a listing, managing an account, or subscribing to visibility or sponsorship services.
  • Visitor: Any person browsing the Website for informational purposes.

MyNursery is committed to processing all personal data in strict compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. Collected Data and Processing Methods

Personal data is collected and processed through:

  • The contact form and publication request forms (Nursery News).
  • The newsletter registration form.
  • The secure portal for Professionals and Partners (business information, contact details, service descriptions, and photographs submitted for publication).
  • The secure area for visitors (saving favourite locations and services).

3. Purposes of Processing

Automatically collected data:

  • IP address, browser type and version, time zone, operating system, browser language, and security verification data (distinction between human users and automated bots).

Voluntarily provided data:

  • Geolocation data (subject to prior explicit consent by the User).
  • Email address (newsletter subscription, account creation, or general inquiries).
  • Full contact and business details submitted by Professionals for directory profiling or billing purposes.

This data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Delivering, managing, and monitoring visibility and listing services on the platform.
  • Invoicing and meeting legal accounting and tax obligations.
  • Connecting families with relevant childcare providers and local businesses.
  • Distributing updates, platform news, or newsletters (with consent that can be withdrawn at any time).
  • Answering customer service inquiries.

4. Consent and Legal Basis

By accessing the Site and using its services, the User consents to the processing of their personal data in accordance with this policy.

  • For paid or free services (commercial or non-commercial), processing is based on contractual performance or pre-contractual steps.

  • Inquiry and Prospect Data: Deleted after 3 years of inactivity.

Data is strictly reserved for MyNursery SRL and its vetted technical subcontractors (web hosting providers, invoicing tools, secure payment gateways) operating in full GDPR compliance.

MyNursery does not sell or rent any personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
